Yoon Seungho = An asshole that assume that he is one. Will always do what he wants in front of you and use any means necessary to get whatever he wants without hiding who he is.
In hun = A double faced asshole. Envious of what he doesn't have. Following his own agenda and seems like a sneaky and back stabbing bastard.
I will take the first asshole anytime if I have to choose between both. I least if I know his mood, I won't be surprised.

I agree with the consensus that Seungho is problematic, but at least he is overtly so. He isn't shy about showing his true colors, that being a nymphomaniac and a sadist. He is honest about who he is, even if the majority of his fellow noblemen find him distasteful. But there is an underlying side of him beginning to show 'care' for Na-Kyum as the story progresses, even if he does end up taking advantage of the painter (ex. Stopping further punishment after the ruined painting, having his manservant assist Na-Kyum while he heals from the aforementioned punishment, 'saving' the painter from the jealous lover's assault, and exhibiting gentleness towards Na-Kyum during sex after the misdirected confession of love). And this emerging new personality of his is a deviation of what he typically is, and it endears him to some readers despite his being a total tool and a basket case.
However, the teacher is playing up a facade of being a civilized, courteous, and caring individual, when in fact, he is being covert with what he really is. He is condescending when he talks about teaching farmers' children - considering that he is an educator by profession -, he is clearly homophobic, judgemental, and self-righteous, and is deviously ambitious when he sees all of Seungho's wealth and power and deems the other unworthy of what he has - while Inhun believes that he is far more deserving of such things because he is 'righteous' and 'unworldly'. Inhun is illicitly manipulative and selfish, as opposed to Seungho who is equally manipulative and selfish, but is explicit about being just that.
What you see with Seungho is what you get, while with Inhun, his diabolical and scheming nature is kept hidden - which is far more messed up, and sours readers' perception of him compared to the other.

i'm sorry i don't get it and i just wont no matter how many times people try to explain...as long as he's open about his trashiness right? i'd rather a 2 faced friend than someone who kidnaps, abuses and threatens me, sorry! the reasons you guys hate inhun is because of his petty characteristics. but seungho is a rapist , abuser, sadist and kidnapper but he gets a bypass because he is 'true to himself' ...ok. disclaimer i don't hate the seme or the story(plus the art is bomb and the seme is hot)i just acknowledge that Seungho is bad and he doesn't get a bypass or praised in my book and the logic of why Seungho gets one and everyone is acting like inhun has ate their grandmother is very inane. but anyway keep enjoying i'm waiting on the next update just like you are.

No one is giving Seungho a pass. He is a sociopath and a Grade-A asshole, and that is a fact. But we are comparing him to another asshat in the story and that is Inhun. We are all entitled to our own opinions and point of views, and some people do think that they'd rather have the antithesis of a male lead who shows what they are instead of a person who puts up an act that they are this upstanding guy when they are in fact hiding something very sinister. It is those who have something to hide that are truly scary. Serial killers are often like that (not calling Inhun a serial killer, but wearing a false mask is what he and they have in common). If I saw Seungho doing what he does, I'd run for the hills and avoid him like the plague. However, with Inhun, it's his facade of normalcy and his hypocrisy that is putting readers off. He's someone who seems trustworthy, when in fact, he could be plotting the downfall of another just because he doesn't agree with or like them. He's a person you can tell all your deepest, darkest secrets with, not knowing that he'll use them against you when you least expect it. With Seungho, he is an individual who you know from the get-go is completely untrustworthy, so it will be wise to avoid any contact to begin with. Just my two cents.
We're already seeing the shift in terms of character development, that's true. And it will probably be Seungho becoming less of an asshole (but still is one), and Inhun taking on the mantle of biggest dick in POTN.

i stopped at everyone is entitled to their own opinion because they are never said they weren't and no matter how many times you explain i still won't get it it just seems like excuses and assumptions of what he'd might do to make him seem like the biggest monster when in reality he has not done anything wrong YET or to measure up to the semes doing. ... i was really just weirded out at the fact that people hated the inhun guy so much but never mentions the seme's actions.(which are way worse.)

People already mentioned the Lord's bad actions and flaws in long and large we can't even count anymore.
But I think people don't like the Learned Sir more because he's one of the antagonists here, also the love interest of MC Nakyum, and because amongst the human defaults, hypocrisy is amongst what people hate the most.

I mean, I agree with this. Aside from being homophobic, which shouldn't really shock ppl that much if we remember which era the story takes place in, the teacher hasn't really done anything bad yet. I think we can all feel like the author is setting him up to be a villain, but no reason to call him a monster rn lol. He even criticized the painter for drawing porn and told him to do something else...that was very nice of him especially taken that his position depends on the painter drawing.

Like Nakyum, I'm pretty sure that everyone will just hate Seungho and like Inhun if they were real people. The latter didn't show any kind of misbehaviour and seems polite and good in any kind of circumstances. Only the readers (and maybe Seungho) know his true nature. Sure he didn't do anything because till now he wasn't given the opportunity, but from what I can guess, I'm pretty sure that Inhun will do something really nasty that will emotionally break Nakyum. But that's only my prediction, the author could go another way.
I choose Seungho from a reader's point of view not from something I can condone irl. The only thing that make me drawn to him is wanting to know what or who made him this way. As people mentioned, he can be very caring like he is a sadist, a rapist and whatever else that's bad. That's a part of his mood swings.

As Sakata Ginko said, we as readers see something about Inhun that makes us dislike him, and it's his potential for engineering trouble in the plot. In the perspective of real life, Inhun is a person everyone likes because he shows himself as somebody respectable and polite, while Seungho is outwardly the exact opposite. Inhun's trains of thought on his own time as well as his latest outburst to Na-Kyum heavily implies to most of us that he will be an individual capable of plotting against Seungho - either because he despises what he is and does, or simply to elevate himself over someone he thinks is undeserving of their position and influence. I don't know about you, but I prefer somebody transparent and I can tell who and what they are, versus someone who is being kind one second and a backbiter when I'm not around. And that is an opinion I'm entitled to.
I do not disregard what Seungho does or did, and reading the first few chapters almost made me turn away from this story because of how he treats Na-Kyum and other people. However, as Sakata Ginko also mentioned, he is still capable of being a caring person (as we have seen in a couple of instances during his interactions with Na-Kyum) despite being a shit human being half the time.
seme is very fucked up... reading the comments you guys hate the teacher's guts but the seme gets a by pass?... weird.
