
I don’t think the romance will happen (at least not now) cause Cain doesn’t even seem to see her that way and is just focused on getting stronger and revenge. Who knows if it will happen in the future but the author seems to be sticking with the plot centering around him getting more powerful and keeping her as a side character.

Yeah, I agree with your thoughts on Cain and his motives; however, I would not be surprised if romance does happen because other characters (like Edora's father) already approve and ship them basically. It's just the forced happens tend to influence the an author's decision sometimes, based on my past reading experiences. I guess you're right that we'll have to see. Thanks for reassurance that you also see the author sticking to the focus on Cain in the future.
So grateful for the updates to this. As for the novel...I'm ready for the one-horned tribe arc to be over. Really sick of the one-sided shipping, and I'm hoping Cain doesn't succumb to hinted romance. It'll be disappointing and predictable if the author does end up making the ship happen, but I'll still read the story for the sake of the plot.
