It's really disappointing to see her mother treating her like this. But if this is how it is. I know it's a bit harsh and unusual, but it's a better choice to disown her mother and marry her lover overseas. It's less painful than allowing the mother to continue forcing her to be someone shes not and ruining the chance of being with someone she loves.
