I know many dislike the fact that Seungho raped Nakyum, and rape in yaoi / BL in general since it's like a trope now, but this is the first time it makes sense. I'm not saying rape is good, not at all I dislike the rape trope as much as everyone else, but considering the setting, the time period, the story and the roles (Seungho being a high ranking official that can and will do as he desires because he can, and Nakyum as a commoner trapped inside Seungho's place) it MAKES SENSE that Seungho just went and raped Nakyum because he felt attracted to him. And that doesn't mean IT'S OKAY, but IN THIS TYPE OF STORY it's plausible. It's Seungho's character, heck I would have disliked it more if he had been nice to Nakyum, because in this point of the story it would have been freaking out of character. He won't suddenly turn nice just because of Nakyum, when they have barely interacted in a normal way.

Now, I'd love to think that at some point Seungho becomes softer to Nakyum, but right at this moment we can't expect that. I'm unsure how this will go, but let's wait and see how the story unfolds. The author is great and the drawings are beautiful as well!

I agree with you, the most interesting is when the characters acts’ makes sense.

The seme was portrayed as a gay man who have sex frequently with a lot of people and he has no pity (considering he killed without a care). But still, he didnt just rape the uke out of nowhere right from the start.

And even though rape is bad, the worst of it is how it affects people mentally. But this one (and most of them in yaoi but this one was quite smooth due to the uke’s state) probably won’t be too bad on the uke.

Also the seme has been quite good towards the uke (for his character, thatsgood atleast). But yea im expecting him to become softer but not too much xD.

Yes! Thank you! I find this one quite interesting because like you emphasized before, the seme was actually quite good to the uke itself. Seungho properly prepared him and made sure he was alright throughout the experience, something he wouldn't have cared about before (from what we get from him). He might have raped him, but he still treated him as good as he could within his character settings.

I wonder were it'll go from now on, specially with Nakyum. Thank you for the comment :)
