Many people hate on Gyul now..on the other hand what he did is actually realistic enough. He understands Hyunho's temper that if he's not being tough hyunho won't get it. The guy's pretty dense. It was his longtime dream, he shouldn't just give up on it easily when LDR is still in the option..
Hyunho said before that he needed to be a pro soon so that he'll make money and help gyul..he got a chance for that yet ready to throw it away..that's being in love but also not thinking ahead..by taking the offer, even if he don't last there, he would still make some value for him when he came back and open his way to become a pro

I totally agree! It feels really realistic with Gyul's choice. Plus, it's not like Hyunho would get the job in the first place; it's a tryout.

It kind of feels like Hyunho is willing to give up what he's longed for for so long just so he doesnt put any strain on their relationship. If I was in Gyul's footsteps that would be a huge burden to carry. Knowing that someone gave up their dreams for you, or because of you. I'd rather fight for a LDR and have them achieve their dream over living in regret (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Yup, we can see that hardship and financial instability had made gyul more mature than his age. He's used to plan things out for his future cuz his circumstances are limited, he didn't have any family to rely on anymore, he doesn't have time to slack off. He still needs to provide his brother and soon his bro's univ tuition fee (anyone knows how expensive uni and living cost in Seoul is). So he just wants Hyunho to regards his own future the same and not be impulsive. Plus it's not like gyul will go anywhere ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
