They could have been saying kids being innocent felt more like how one looks at puppies and kittens just cute and found in their actions, I didn't find it all that creepy.But I do hope the author doesn't try to insert any romantic setting as well. The first few chapters did get me worried but let's see how the story progresses, right now Natsumi feels more like a older friend with aoi harboring a childhood crush, understandably.
I know the description said there won't be any romance, and though i desperately hope that to be true...i don't think so.
From reading the two first chapters and the last one, people around them seem to think it is totally fine for a twelve year old and a grown up man to be together. Also the vibe i get from this, i feel like there will be romance between them in the future.
And am i the only one who got a bit grossed out by the authors note ? The way they talked about how innocent children are opposed to adults...it's a heavy no from me.
