He wasn't actually surprised, it was intended (I assume) as a realization face: he wanted a second opinion about which shoes to buy, and he realized he wanted Itsuki's opinion on it - so he could have something on him that Itsuki liked ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
So why is he surprised???? I don't get it
