He’s been “pursuing” her as if they actually weren’t in a relationship before. She often plays hard to get so I’m gonna be honest, that it’s partly her fault. She already noticed how much Hai pays attention to Bei Hu, yet still decides to play the “ice cold, I’m not into you” type girl. Tbh her personality/actions itself are irritating.
No, if I'm reading this right, she did that because it was his type to get his attention and so he wouldn't get bored, because it happened before. She was jealous and insecure, because even though he showed interest, he was also very concerned with his close friend. It would have been fine if the MC hadn't kissed the best friend, at least not in front of people. And then she just goes and dies. Honestly, I feel sorry for this girl. More than I do for the MC because when you think about it, he indirectly got a girl killed, he didn't even follow after her or tell someone, like her boyfriend, that she'd run off upset.
