It's weird either way... Cause he said sth along the lines of "working on a Saturday again? You must be really addicted to work, getting off only now; it's already 3 in the morning" but that makes no sense no matter what. If he meant 3am, it wouldn't make sense to say "working on a Saturday" since the day has only begun and he probably just extended his Friday work day. If he meant 3pm, it wouldn't make sense to emphasize the time with "already" since 3pm isn't really that late. Unless it's known to everyone that it's normal to like get off work at noon on a Saturday xD
3 pm can be late when you’re working in the weekend, maybe without going home first.
He said it was 3am when they met the second time, and they were buying shoes in a store??
