I really wanted Hanbusa to end up with him, you know. They were so happy and right.
But on a separate note, this stings like reality. Like if we consider it to be what would happen in the real world, it would probably end like this. And that is why, we're all sad, in life and in general, for nobody goes the extra mile, the last of all the extra miles.
I know right, after the father kicked out Hikaru from their family name. Everything seems went right, right? like Hanabusa take his time to confess to Haruki again, gave us false hope. Lol the mangaka played with our feelings. After the ending, I honestly feel all Hanabusa's regrets, but man you've blown up all your chance by what you said and did to Haruki in that Christmas night. And even in the ending he decides to not pursue Haruki any further. I keep thinking "if only" for Hanabusa x Haruki and I feel so bitter.
But yeah this ending makes the manga memorable.

Reread this again, still mind fucked. How everything turned wrong were so regretable, the last scene of Hanabusa sitting alone is always giving me bitter taste.
