"Just to piss him off" was not meant only for the boyfriend part, but also the university life, I may have not make it clear. And just because you do something to piss someone off doesn't mean you care for them nor seek their attention literally. It can be a mean to say that you're doing better without them and that you're done with them. It can be the period after the end if their relationship. The last fuck you give them. Or to just show them that you're respecting their wishes and you're leaving them alone. I'm not saying Ritsu should parade in front of Hachi with a new guy to show how lovey dovey they are, that's pathetic. But since he made so much effort to chase after the guy to hear his reasoning or whatever, he should do something to show he won't care anymore as he wishes.
Either way u keep saying it as a point to prove to hachi..but whatever. it's too soon in the manga for them to even be judged this far ahead..hachi fucked up yes and ritsu is "clingy" i guess..but the only reason I commented was because I disagreed with what u said which is perfectly fine

Uugh, Hachi pisses me off by being such a wuss. And Ritsu is missing me off by clinging to him so much just for an apology and explanation. If Hachi is going to be a bitch about it, I wish Ritsu would just forget the guy and have a fun university life and find a boyfriend just to piss him off.
