Have I mentioned how much I love her as a character? She's a super tall, badass lady, who is still elegant, and loving to the people who are closest to her, and someone who will not allow herself to be stepped on. She's such a well-designed character, the author could've just made her some tiny Dame, with a tiny little scar on her face -- but no, the author made her distinct, and unique, the same with her husband, and that goes beyond just their design, but also into their personalities. As much as I love Leslie, I feel like when we're fangirling/boying/othering, we just focus on Leslie (very understandable, I'm not blaming you for anything, she's a precious little bean), but we neglect some of the other characters that deserve some of that excitement too.
