I believe the root is poisonous and the flower is safe, but I’m not sure. I thought Adele told Marie to give Susan the flower because it wasn’t poisonous.

Yeah, I kinda think Adele is gonna poison herself or at least make it seen like she was poisoned. Maybe use that as an alibi to keep people from thinking she kidnapped Susan.
The root is poison and the flower isn't, that's why Adele has the roots and Susan the flower.

Adele had the real poison (the roots) while Susan was given the non poisonous flower in case she would try to poison her. But now, Adele made Marie plant the real poison (aka evidence for the rumors) in Susan's and Anna's rooms now that they made their move.
Ok so does Adele have the flower head and she’s asking to grind that and Susan already has a powder of the roots idk which is gonna be used for what but what if it gets swapped...... (⊙…⊙ )
