you ever watch code geass ? well the protagonist takes out his whole family in a disguise then sets himself up as a tyrannical king and has his best friend kill him while wearing his disguise so that the people feel united in a rebellion marking a new era of diplomacy killing off the dynasty and setting the people free (su won may end up doing the same however not with murder cause su won is too popular)

I thought of the exact same thing, but no matter what i can't forgive su won for breaking hak s heart

First I don’t think Hak would have accepted the throne then because he viewed it as Yona right and at that time Yona wasn’t interested in him. I also think that Soo Won didn’t have time to want on the off chance that Yona could convince her father to let them get married (he also didn’t know that she wanted to marry him). The country was already being attacked indirectly on multiple front and it is possible that as soon as one enemy country attacked the others would join in for a pice of the pie and King Il would just give it to them to avoid war. If Soo Won waited there would be no country to defend because each tribe would have its own problems to deal with and would not be willing to divide their forces to help the country.

maybe next time put a spoiler before SPOILING THE WHOLE STORY AND TWISTS, if someone havent seen code geass and just read that... it would suck. as its a great anime, with great story and charecters having the plot spoiled like that is the worst... just put down a spoiler so people can avoid it if they want (as ive already seen the anime it didnt bother me personaly but think from the perspective of someone who hasent see it but have been thinking about it) you have a good point tho but please... spoiler warning.

plus i read all the harry potter books and loved the movies doesn't mean you'll not like it just cause u know how it ends plus its all the other things that make it great like the character interactions or the complexity of the characters, ill be sure to put a spoiler warning next time, didn't think id have to for an old anime man （￣へ￣）

thats not true tho. new people learn of anime everyday, someone who have never looked at the anime/read the manga could stumple upon it, even if its an older anime. like i just started reading one piece a few week ago, thats also an older anime/manga and i got it spoiled that a important person dies (wont say who cause you know... spoilers)that sucked. and you can never be "late" to an anime/manga/movie... like i have a friend who still havent seen the first 3 star wars or any harry potter books/movies. if she wanted to watch/read them tomorrow she shouldnt be spolied of the story just cause thay came out years ago. i just think code geass is "better" if you go into it blind. you are ALWAYS supposed to use a spoiler tag when talking about important story point/plots/twists.
sorry if you find me annoying... cause i could see me as annoying but i just hade to say this, cause having thing spoiled when you dont want it to be is sad, you have to give people a choice if they want to read a spoiler or not

haven't seen it but i've heard about this title back in high school (but didn't really know the story lol) and now i'm curious so i'm going to watch it hehe... yeah you have a point it's possible soo won is thinking of liberating the country in a radical way. but i think until the story behind king il and his brother's death is resolved we won't clearly understand his actions. i don't see him as a completely bad character, though

Mmm that's not true at all, I watched Code geass for the first time in 2016, 10 year after its released. Time is relative, so next time make sure to put a trigger warning before making a spoiler. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
