well demeter did have a child with zeus whos also her brother
Demeter fancied a human man and had colette/persephone, but by some problem she couldnt be with her family, therefore having been seperated with colette/persophone her only daughter, and due to the heartache and believing she had no one, Demeter had one of the god maybe to erase her memory of that time in her life. Or one of the gods doing it so just to help demeter forget than suffer through eternity. So that's why Colette can come in amd out of the underworld because she has the blood of the gods in her, just lying dormant. And maybe that's why there was this mysterious encounter between the two.
