I think they making fun of it not because the hair is ugly but just like kindergarten school boy who teases hair or ribbon clip of the girl they like. I think it kinda cute. :3
Yeah, right now only Armin makes fun of her and her hair. And we all know how much he enjoys torturin- I mean teasing her.
Everybody else just says she is ugly, but every single character besides Ibelin and the 3 fishes are supposed to be ugly as hell, so it's fine I guess. Almost every single one of the irrelevant female characters have straight hair and they are all "ugly".
She is really cute and way more interesting then Ibelin. But yeah, this "only white skin and straight hair is beautiful" standard gets really annoying really fast.
Come on Peridot is not ugly and her maid is not ugly either

I don't think Latte or her maids are ugly. They are super cute. But in the universe of the terrible novel Latte transmigrated into, with the exception of the original mc (Ibelin), the love interests (3 fishes) and the love rivals (Peridot and the Princess), everyone else is perceived by others as ugly as hell when next to the main ones.
Like i know it as nothing to do with the convo right now but Latte, i like her and humoristic personality but it annoys me how her reactions are so slow and she was to much of a idiot for someone who got reincarnated and used to be a role model and perfect working in her past life. Like i understand that she wants to see the major good parts of the novel in real life but she has been given a second chance to live a life were she doesn't have to work like a lunatic and barely sleep,she's 18 now and already is not considered that 'pretty ' in the webtoon( Even tho i think they have some problems with their eyes) and she'll be waisting her time worrying or putting her nose in other people (Ibeline and the 3 fishes) love problem then her own life.But hey I don't care i love dis webtoon even tho Latte is a god danm idiot ( Like she said in a chapter ) and well she got Erwin as her probably future bf/hs ( My ship be sailing) . I hope she can bish slap Peridot cause idk i wanna bitch slap her .
I don’t think we’ve seen anyone else with such tight curls. It’s unique, so they use it to tease her. It’s not normal, and in many cases, that would be seen as bad in such a society.

Is why do they always make comments on her curly hair? Calling it a mess, or comparing it to a dog?
I think it’s cute!! And her hair should be getting more credit.
I get that’s its a running gag, but I don’t like the constant standard that straight hair is always the most beautiful in these toons and mangas. Not to mention the only beautiful type of curly hair that’s depicted are waves that don’t even breach the curl category and those weird drill things.
I’m probably just being sensitive since I have curly hair, and I’m just being picky, but hey that’s just my opinion.
