Agree, each to their own, but his character isn't my favourite to say the least. He really gets a free pass, despite doing as you say quite hypocritical things, then Ryan laid it bare that he feels exploited and violated by Glen, and Glen didn't disagree.
Something seemed up, when we were introduced to Glen, not as a distanced film-maker, but still actively participating in acting, despite having another "role" and the financial security. For him to be in charge of the films, and be the "top star" too, then everyone else is used and thrown away.... hmmm
Ed's character, just highlights the poorness of their dynamic. He is that yaoi cliche of "straight man turned bi... and has to be the "uke" towards the tall dominant ken doll". He passively goes along with Glen, not picking up on any red flags of jealousy, wanting to sleep around despite being the CEO, and ignoring what the reality of working with Glen is, by basically dismissing Ryan.
I think Glenn doesnt have right to be jealous about Ed, when he still think about dong porn. Its hypocrisy. And in some way i dont like Glenn. And to my he looks somewhat fake.
