I totally agree. It seemed really out of the blue. I honestly thought he was having a flash back. I can kinda see how its relevant though. They obviously knew each other in the past, but something happened and it went bad. So this might be them chasing old feelings or something.

The two of them probably were together a while back, then the white/blonde haired guy probably got scouted from a talent agency, which probably lead to them having an argument and them splitting up (most likely one sidedly or something), then the "first one night stand" happened and sparked up the old flame and now they, for some unknown reason, are "trying" to be a "couple" but failing miserably

I don't know why, but I get the feeling that this "second one night stand" seems a little... I don't know... Out of place? It seems pretty rushed, there's no proper build up of events that would lead up to this "second one night stand"... I don't know, it just doesn't make sense... I mean, they "ran" into each other, sent the friend away to have a "private conversation" ( they weren't even speaking THAT quietly and in the middle of the bloody street), then the three of them went drinking together and THEN had a "second one night stand"...
It's just that it seems way too rushed...
Please tell me that I'm not the only person feeling this way?
