BUT YOU DON'T LIKE THE ART?! I love it, I haven't seen an art style so cute in a while! Lol, not bashing you, honestly. Everyone has their preferences (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
But I do agree, I enjoy this pace. Not too slow, realistically slow enough despite what has to be filtered/ censored out, for it is a Chinese manhua/webtoon. But not too incredibly fast where I get thrown into a tornado of plot throwup.
oh i don't think the art is bad per se! it's certainly very cute, i am just more critical when it comes to anatomy and stylization (happens when you spend years taking fine arts classes ) and to me this art doesn't show the "expertise" that say, here u are or 19 days does. the artist does do a pretty good job of creating distinctive characters though.
and tornado of plot throw up is so accurate for so many chinese webtoons!! i've had to give up on so many promising manhuas bc the story just didn't make sense
I love the art.. love it.. the humor portrayed is perfect imo..I always feel a warm fuzzy looking at and reading this one.

chinese manhuas usually have horrible pacing but the relationship development in this one is so good!! the brother and lan yang are so cute i almost died during their kiss scene!!! definitely recommend, the art is not the best but it doesn't detract from the well written story
