They cutted the time short you know, unless they make the day to day happening
i think its also because they already had small rations (and then she gives mc her ration so basically they've had little to eat recently and she eats even less)
And we can't even be sure about the water situation. Was there even drinkable water? If not, it would only take about 3 days then
soooooo... i get that it was for the sake of plot and his tragic backstory, but wasnt it only a few days at most before she died? it takes over a week of no food before your body starts having major issues and it takes even longer than that for you to die of starvation. just saying...
