I don't think the story is going to go that route. I think Kang is going to take care of Ahn. Show off a gentle side and a stark contrast to when Kang just wanted to fuck then fuck off. I could be wrong but I think the author is less tone deaf then to try and peg abuse as love

Someone didn't like my comment, how can people agree to the rape? I'm talking to this person, would you be happy if someone abuses you sexually while you're drunk? Do you find that exciting? I don't get it!

Oh, it’s me, I disliked your comment ! I don’t want a sex scene in next chapter either, but it’s the way you said that i don’t really agree with. I think people should see the difference between rape and rape fantasy, you know ? Like you can enjoy having weird kinks even though you know you wouldn’t like it in real life ? You can read stories that are morally wrong and enjoy them while still knowing that in real life it’s not okay.

I think there is a difference though, in fiction that romanticises crimes, compared to a straight crime/psychological drama. Hence, a lot of yaoi gets criticised for having rape just treated as a normal part of the character's relationship development. And whereas a crime drama, would show having sex with an incapacitated/unconscious person as a crime, and the legacy this has, a lot of yaoi just acts as if it's nothing.

If tags were going to be more reflective, then a lot of yaoi would be considered horror, psychological and not just the obvious ones like Killing Stalking, for depicting the amount of abuse they do. Love is an illusion, every sex scene bar a few, would be considered rape, then Hye-sung is forced to be with his abuser.

i actually have no idea how to phrase my answer since English isn’t my first language... however I think that there is a difference between yaoi mangas where the first encounter between characters is a rape scene (like in Caste Heaven) and then they fall in love, and a story where drunk characters that have feelings for each other (though they didn’t say it out loud) and have sex which is probably going to result in misunderstanding.
But I don’t want to argue my point of view though, I won’t be able to explain it properly ahah ^^’

No, it's fine, I understand your pov. Ideally they wouldn't depict a sex scene when a character is blind drunk, but it's yaoi. Hopefully the premis of the sex scene wont be that the director is jealous.

There is absolutely a difference, and there is nothing wrong with enjoying fantasy (as long as it stays fictional) but I still don't think that kind of scene would match the tone the author is going for well. Rape was a common theme for older and more simple manga where the premise is almost solely "This is a story about boys fucking boys". Which is fine, but thats not what this author seems to be going for and I agree with the first comment in that if it was to happen it would feel uncomfortably out of place

Do agree, logically there would be no way a sex scene at that point would be consenting, but as someone spoiled, they say the guy magically becomes stone cold sober. It's a shame though that these discussions are still taking place, as modern authors depict rape normalisation... cough bj alex cough cough cough. Difference in when it is written as a crime, to literally characters falling in love with their rapist, and not actually exploring any dependency, psychological reasons etc for so. Killing Stalking, and the extra chapters of An easy target, explored this to an extent.

    * It's also quite a lazy trope, that a "couple" is cemented from the start, even if abuse takes place. Those mangas, where abusive partners are left behind, and characters try to move on, and end up with someone else are better.
