Bruh Kids can't but teens can, in a lot of countries age of consent varies. Especially in 2019, we have kids talking about climate change, having sex doing drugs and social politics . It's not a stretch to think that

1 a teen can say "yes i want to have this happen" they accept the fact they are now just as at fualt as the other party. You can't just blame the other party for being fully responsible.

2 i was being critical of how if the kid at the time was in danger he could have told someone. But it was obviously by the way it was written it looked consensual. Given that age of consent is different for every country what is wrong to you may not be somewhere else when we are talking about teens.

3 there who point i was making was say neither side was ever innocent. And neither side got away from the choices they made.

4 my example of what i was using with the age range was a figurative example, that youth and youth should be fine. grade schoolers like 3-11 normally at school play pretend when they refer to someone as their gf or bf.
But when they start puberty in those teen years i can tell you from my teen experience growing up as a woman that the "pretending" stopped. I was like 14 when i have my first experience and he was quite older and i lied because i looked quite older for my age. Does that make him a predator no, most importantly it was consensual.
I mean everyone took sex ed in school so i know what i was getting into. But i was smart enough to do this with a friend i trusted and used protection. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Well if lucas is 6-10 (art can be subjective) it's wrong no matter if christ is a teen a or not, but we disagree on second part, i was a teen who slept with an older person. I was 14 he was 23, i consented to be fair he was not aware of my age.

I also think a 10 and younger kid would be pretty vocal. Like you could tell that somethings going on because they have no clue at the age how to hold things in. And they would either show a shift in behavior or they would simply blurt it out.

Also what studies have you seen? most polls show that teens as young as 13 are becoming pregnant at higher rate then in any generation. Maybe grade schoolers are kids yes i completely agree with that. How ever teens are a different story, because they are aware
Im not presenting you a opinion These are simple facts lol. im a millennial so we did have the creation of social media which didn't help teens today from sexual encounters. Apps like tender, pof, fb, snap, grinder, okcupid, ig these app's say the age to use them are 13 or 18. Knowing that most of us use these apps for either sexual or dating type conversations. But that don't stop teens from trying to act like they know it all

The cdc should be quite reliable. There you can see that the age for first sexual intercourse drops significantly. Also, only 13% of female and 18% male15 year olds (data from 2015) had sex.
In the media teenagers are oversexualized and that leads to the belief that they all have sex.
Also, they drink less than my generation (those healthy responsible nerds ;)

Well usa is far worse then those polls how ever birth rate are down for millennials. How ever the birth rates of teens has been on the rise since the 80s. I understand why they would not say anything im not disagreeing with you. Im just saying a child will display obvious signs of sexual abuse. It's not that hard for a parent who know their child to see the signs. If it was a teenager i can't stop them, they have more liberty here. But my child hello! I changed their pampers helped potty train them and delt with their personality. I would know if something was going on. Read the entire discussion no one denies that about kids being groomed. But a teen is different there is consent that can be given they can say yes or no. A child can't because they dont understand the concept of sex.

And to put a point out there The legal Age of Consent varies from 11 to 21 years old from country to country around the world. In some countries, there is no legal age of consent but all sexual relations are forbidden outside of marriage. It's not always that simple to blame the older person

I can't fathom how any reasonable adult could find a child or a teen sexually attractive. Any person younger than me by three years seem like babies to me. The adults who preyed on you as a young teen are disgusting.
