I'mma keep it real here and say:

I don't fuck with Claudia or Maryjun at all. Claudia is an ignorant ass and is only paying attention to Violette because she decided to stop following him around like a love sick puppy. He didn't and probably wouldn't have cared about her if she had continued to do the same previously, and its only made worse by the fact that he pities her because she and Maryjun parallel the situation that he and Yulan are in. And Maryjun, don't even get me started on her. Ignorant, innocent, dumb, lacking any form of common sense. She completely ignores Violette's feelings, doesn't seem to understand how much of a problem she is for her, nor does she acknowledge the fact that she is the daughter of their father's concubine, their father leaving Violette's mother alone to be with their family, and just doesn't think anything's wrong with that. But you know, I could forgive her for that if she wasn't such a wet noodle.

Seriously, she can argue with noble women about her beliefs that people should be treated equal regardless of status, but can't even tell her father to calm the fuck down. All she can do is say "Father..." or "Father!" in different tones and then act like her father didn't just shit on her "beloved older sister" a few panels ago. Like, I don't think she ever brings up how her father treats her sisters. Doesn't ask why their relationship is so toxic. Doesn't even try to comfort her sister when she is scolded for no good reason. Like seriously. You want her to be this perfect big sister, but you ain't gonna even take the time to help her when she's in need? Fuck off. Can she not just say "Dad, Violette has been really helpful to me and I would appreciate if you didn't act so rudely towards her.." or something. Let that fucking justice she keeps trying to advocate show for her sister for once instead of picking and choosing who your justice applies for. And the glasses boi, better fuck off too because I'm not in the mood for his meddling ass right now.
