After reading the manga and keeping up with it the design in the trailer looks..........questionable...to me...........

I read on MAL that the author apparentpy asked to fire the entire team that put that PV together. It's been a year since the release now so hopefully the anime will be different! (Sonic gives me hope lol)

Did anyone watch the trailer? I don’t mind the cgm style, but what concerns me is the design of everything. I know that they make it based on the novel, but for me Kumoko and the dragons became so weird. The mc looks like an spider with the head of an dog and the dragon looks more like an children’s toy them an intimidating and powerful monster, too colorful and with really rigid movements. Just from the trailer I have an feeling that the quality won’t be so good. And to be honest I prefer the manga design for kumoko, she is cuter here than the novel version.
