I know right, how does one love someone and not know them, I guess it's a guessing game, ya know, they can get to know them. I mean, I thought I was best friends with someone for like over ten years, turns out they never thought I was their friend, but just their friends friend, and it took me till their baby shower to really fully realize they actually considered me a stranger, even their family was hateful towards me even though they were very nice before. My actual best friend who was friends with this person as well got a very nice welcome, while I was literally ignored and sneered at by my ex-best friend's mother. It's shocked not only myself but my actual best friend. Safe to say neither me nor my actual best friend really talks to them anymore. （￣へ￣）

It kinda saddens me to see almost no one understanding what Yanase is going through (I said almost). Acting as if his feelings were futile or dumb. Or that he has no right to feel this way or think the way he does.
And I'm sorry but as much as I love Kaneda I would probably think something along the line of "you're in love with the image you have of me, the way you THINK I am but how can you even say you love me while knowing nothing about me"
And with Yanase's inner demons it's even worse.
It's something that always bothered me, how can you be in love with someone you don't personally know.
