Maybe,,.. if it's based on history, the route will be something along the sequence of the history with a little twist :
"Buckingham's betrayal (the reason would be of course, *A. BAE James tyrell or *B. richard not giving him the power he wanted like in the history) leading a coup then dying by Richard's hands then the 2nd coup commence which is lead by henry tudor (bukingham's son from Margaret his wife) and will be the future henry the seventh after killing Richard, thus Richard probably also faking his/her own death like what they did to Henry the sixth (now james tyrell) (*to follow the storyline of english history), leaving the throne and to live a peaceful, content, ACCEPTED, happy life with james as commoners.. this probably is what Catesby dream for his Master..."
That would be my theory route... After all... It's still a shoujo ¯_(ツ)_/¯ pretty dark shoujo tho ..
P.s., catesby will definitely die along the way while protecting Richard .. my loyal Bb Ó╭╮Ò
Also, She/He will definitely end up with Henry(james) cuz,,.. romance is the only point of reviving the fallen king

they already took some creative liberty with the whole "intersex" thing (that came from a Shakespearian play)
