He knew Astra wanted a "beating boy." He KNEW Bel would be physically tortured by that bitch. It's one thing to make a deal, with Bel's consent even, for a larger plan ,and sell her to someone decent. Insread....he sold her to someone who intended to use her for beatings and sadistic magic practices. There is NO excuse for that. NONE.

I reread this webtoon. I still hate that the emperor sold bel for a castle. but im trying to think on the positive side...that he sold bel in order for her to achieve her dream to be free. But I think he did it at the wrong time cause he probably was confused about his feelings for bel due to the kiss and sold bel to the wrong person. and the fact he was worried that bel might distract him from achieving his dream to be emperor so that he could make bel's dream come true. So thats why he came looking for bel after he became emperor. if only he wasnt worried about his stupid feelings, he should have kept bel at his side while trying to be emperor.
