Yes, Jowoon has remained closed off, as both characters are majorly impacted by Haesoo's mothers comments, but Taku honestly seems manipulative. He's really inserted himself into those two's lives, is meant to be in Korea for a short time, and his relationship with Haesoo is so weird, from sending him his sex tape, to then suddenly declaring his love for him, after a couple of sex scenes? What exactly are his motives, as any love at this point seems so shallow, is he wanting to play some voyeur in Haesoo and Jowoon's taboo relationship?
It doesn't help that Haesoo is an unreliable narrator, but it's a messy story at the end of the day, filled with messy characters, and looks like Leo is about to stir the pot too. Wonder what happened to that Cartier ring also lol.
also not to mention that taku was first intrigued by haesoo's stories about his love affair with his brother.
and im not saying people cant have problems with Joowon, but he isnt the devil, he is not malicious, and he is not manipulative like taku is.
Agree, I didn't get the intense Jowoon hatred either, as if Haesoo is just a passive character in their relationship. Forgot about that scene, it really shows how determined Taku was to track this man down, and what does he do within knowing each other for a few hours, sends him his sex tape, and let's him watch a voyeuristic photography session. Then this immediately leads to Taku. Always. Being. There. And crossing professional boundaries, constantly pushing Haesoo to do a nude photoshoot.
like i was never on his team but i was pretty neutral about him before but the "i love you" shit is so shallow. there is no way that he sees his relationship with haesoo as anything more than a good time for right now. imo taku is playing haesoo. and fuck people that joowon hate on joowon and say he is a bad person or selfish or whatever. like yeah he isnt perfect but he sincerely loves haesoo and has always been there for him. there relationship is very complex but i really admire his loyalty and how much he treasures haesoo.
