Well, I think Claude grant Jennette permission to meet him because he heard Jennette yelled the word "Princess". He probably wanna ask if she knows where Athy is ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ (Just my theory)

I don't think it will progress like in the "original story" since Jenette already came to like Athy and has formed some kind of friendship with her. If Claude came to favor Jenette she would probably try to protect Athy. I don't think Jenette is a bad person and I hole I am right.
