I've read some random chapters from the novel, and I'm not sure whether this is accurate, but it sounded like Claude wants Athy back in the castle despite still not remembering her. He traps her in a magic circle when she tries to teleport to the castle, and demands that she goes back to the palace. Apparently, Lucas comes back only after that.
But again, the translation I read was very confusing, so I can't say for sure that's gonna happen in fact kk ╮(￣▽￣)╭
