You're right...like the author totally forgot and just went ahead with the idea of attempted murder....but then they clearly put the flashback of giovanni fell off the bridge right there
It doesn't make sense for this flimsy excuses can't be handled with the best lawyers...for gio's wallet caliber plus there is his rich brother as well...it cud be that the company he offered to oliver is just a trap...but if it really is his company that he gave so easily just to be felix hero, then i think the author just too confused with their own drama haha
In my place you can't drop criminal charges you can only make a statement to the judge to reduce the punishment for the accused.
But for the criminal charges to be there in the first place, the affected party should be the one who put the charges...with that flashback i'm pretty sure it was gio whom the police thought to be almost murdered by felix...but then he didn't know anything about it the charges
Sure this is oliver's doing but that means he bribed the authorities, and i don't get how gio cannot even do anything about it when he is also very powerful lol...it looks like a loophole in the plot
Exactly gio’s pockets should be deep enough to hire a private detective or gather sufficient evidence. At least realistically his pockets should be deep enough to get Felix out even if for a while before Oliver strikes again. Which he shouldn’t be given a chance to, do you know what revealing that Oliver is not the actual air to the company would do?! Do you know how not only the public but his so called “father” would react? The mother herself said that the father is protective of all his kids. All Gio has to do is leak the information inform the father and literally this whole thing SORTED. Surely Felix’s father holds more power than Oliver, even though the police are crooks they will listen to a higher authority. This author is trying to create a drama that doesn’t particularly make sense with the narrative she’s built about these characters to begin with. Felix and Gio LITERALLY have the upper hand.
Yep I skipped to the end because the story was getting ridiculous. With the right lawyers he could have gotten out of that mess, they also have the secret that could throw their company into disarray none of this is making sense to me. Why aren’t they playing their cards right? It’s pissing me off
