(▰˘◡˘▰) I'm satisfied with this chapter,but couldn't he have chosen another route? for example twisting the truth a bit. Like saying that when he and his family came to the capital they came across bandits and he was running away like his parents told him to, however he slipped and fell down a cliff. Miraculously he met two elves who saved him from the fall(an elder and a young girl, but they were being chased by slave traders and only chose to help him because it was the humane thing to do). Anyhow they caught up with them and the elder sacrificed himself and made the boy promise him to bring the girl to the river and she'd guide them to safety. She turned out to be royalty and he was rewarded with a bond,becuz no matter how it happened he still brought her home(reptilian bonds aren't too special as far as I can tell,but a bond is still an amazing thing to get so.. that was his reward (●'◡'●)ﾉ and no matter what it is you can't just go and exchange a gift you received from a royal family(⌒▽⌒)
