you misunderstand, I think jeffrey's easily a pretty amusing and interesting character. I just dont ship him with charlotte, but apparently he's not the ML based on what novel readers have told me. so it seems there's no issue here

well this is why comment sections exist after all, as a social platform to share, speculate and discusses things about the story; whether that be characters, the plot, or just how you feel. your not always going to come across opinions that you agree with and that is perfectly fine but if your the type of person who always interprets someone disagreeing with an opinion (or ship) as an attack there can be no open discussion you see. my first reply was simply stating he was overrated, and in a sense this is true as you said a lot of people like his character, dont they?
