Yes, but where to? If the teacher had any connections, he would have ran a long time ago. And I doubt that the place where Nakyum was brought up could have any power against Yoon's.
Perhaps at Yoon's parents or at some unmentioned enemy of his, but that's a long shot. Either way, if Nakyum and the scholar really did leave, it will take us outside of Yoon's household and that will not only be a feast for the eyes (+, the mind -showing more of the period's socio-cultural norms!), but also for the progression of the story, because it should open up chapters in any of the 3 character's past.
