True they could have expanded more but I don't think it was too fast. They keep talking bout how choosing ur kin is like instinct and you'll know right away or what not so I believe that's what happened with the friend. The father was interested in the friend right away but the rest of the chapters was him just denying it. You see how there's so many times he could have killed the friend but he didn't and he probably doesn't want to anyways seeing how the friend is the only who can somehow always guess or know what he's feeling and just spits it out at him.
The father probably needs that more than anything. Also they keep talking bout how the vampires can't help but love and want humans by their sides all the time that's why they'll create someone who can be with them forever There's no such thing as anyone having the right to fall in love. Emotions are emotions. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

there is this little tiny thing i think that it ended really fast and its how ellian the head fell in love with minhoon's friend the author ( i always forget the names forgive me) like they could have expanded it cuz i feel he just went up and fell in love like what the hell i still feel that he doesn't have the right yet even though i know that he suffered from humans alot as they killed his wife buuuuuuut
