It is just me... who doesn’t really like her short styled dresses?

I mean, they’re cute, but too childish for her... and of course, in those days, showing the ankle or knee was a bit inappropriate...

But also, since I’ve read the novel, they said she didn’t have any personal dresses of her own. She wore hand-me-down clothes... and when she gets to the North she wears the old fashioned dresses from the previous Duchesses of the estate, and I doubt they’d have dresses like she’s wearing...

Idk, maybe I just really don’t like how they are using a modern short cut dress... because it shows how she doesn’t care for material wealth and anything of the sort and also how selfless she is. Idk, that’s just me though...
