you wish it was that way, man.
this is so much more than just a relationship that didn't work out because of the parents only. the problem is within both personalities, its literally being shown through this entire series, they rarely get along. haesoo is traumatized and joowon hasn't even tried to find someone new. taku cant bring these two together. no one can. they cannot work out. and that is something we all have to accept, that's how life can be.
it's also so ignorant to say that the majority of taku stans dont see the story behind between joowon and haesoo. because no, that's simply not the case.

you basically proved their point, thanks.
if you look at the relationship between haesoo and joowon and seriously think there is nothing there except resentment and bitterness i cant help you. and the thing i find really interesting is that the op didnt even say it was impossible for haesoo to end up with taku, just brought up the fact that haesoo and joowon have history and do have a deep relationship. you on the other hand completely refuse to even view joowon as a possibility. and then you tried to criticize them by calling them ignorant lmao. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The bish is still sour?? So she’s the bad one? Why are you looking at her like this? Her marriage and love life ended because of them she has all the right to be mad! Who would want their kids to be in a relationship? Or do you people see this is a normal thing that the siblings can fuck each other? I don’t get it

i still stand by the point that it was mostly the mother's fault. Yes Joowon and Haesoo were both young and for them liking not only a boy for the first time but your step brother added some difficulty of pursing a real relationship. But during the present time you still can see that they both care about each other but it is indeed because of their personalities that they are struggling to let their real feelings out cuz now it is not only Haesoo's mom who doesn't want them to be together, it is because Joowon is a celebrity and everyone knows that they were stepbrothers. In their eyes it's hopeless for them to be actually together but that is why I think Taku came into the story. He is a serious love interest for Haesoo and he has this open minded wild spirit who will stir Haesoo's heart and make Joowon understand if he ain't stepping up, he will lose Haesoo for good. Yes, for them to actually work out, it would need both of their efforts but I still think it's possible and I wish to see their happy ending. I can't say for sure who ends up with who, author will let us know at the end. Second of all, I said taku's fans don't care about Joowon's and Haesoo's backstory because judging from the comment section everyone choose to ignore it and focus only on Taku. A lot of negative dislikes on comments about Joowon come from Taku's fans and they have the right to dislike things but sometimes the amount of dislikes comments about Joowon receives, just proves to me that Taku's fans are basically hating on Joowon and they don't feel any remorse to what he and Haesoo had been through in the past. Either we can't really prove how many Taku and Haesoo shippers give a shit about Joowon and Haesoo. I only have this opinion because of the comments section here.

I don't think Joowon and Haesoo continue to hurt each other. You really should look deeper into what authors shows us. When you judge them you should take into the account, their past feelings, current feelings, reasons they get upset with each other, reasons they can't be together. Also, if Haesoo ends up with Taku, I bet my ass Taku will get hurt by him because of Haesoo's habits to go back to Joowon in the end. You already can see it by him not wanting to hold his hand in front of Joowon.

Well in my eyes, she is the antagonist of the story. She is the brick wall that keeps Haesoon and Joowon from getting together no matter what. She ended her love and marriage herself because she couldn't stand a thought of those two even being next to each other. I feel like the divorce wasn't necessary. And the reason behind her rage wasn't only because they were stepbrothers but also because for her it was shameful and brought disgrace to her that her son could do this - be gay. Even now when she knows that Haesoo is really gay and it wasn't just because of Joowon, she is cold to him because for her being is shameful. She openly shows her hatress towards to Joowon even now when he and Haesoo aren't stepbrothers and not actually dating or sth. Lastly, they were fucking 16-17 teens when they fell for each other and they never really saw each other as siblings, we even saw how they hated each other in the beginning. It just happened that their later on friendship turned into attraction and love - being STEP-brothers didn't have anything to do with it.

Well she told him she’s ok with him being gay! But not with his step-brother, and the divorce was because she couldn’t stand that they’re brothers and do these things and it’s the right thing cuz it’s DISGUSTING, or am I wrong? Even if their parents divorced it’s still disgusting technically they’re still brothers, and she’s mad and wants them to end it because she wants to get back with joowons dad, she has all the right to be mad he can have any guy but he chose his brother? And the fact that they were 17 I think they’re old enough to know that this kind of relationship is wrong :)

im quite shocked that you are even reading yaoi if for you step-brothers getting together is so disgusting (⌒▽⌒) personally, for me it's nothing wrong cuz they weren't blood related and also not even legally related (Haesoo probably has his dad's last name and was only under his mom's custody). They never acted like a real family to begin with and they weren't kids when they became step-brother so they never had brotherly feelings towards each other before starting to fool around. Im not saying what they started doing back then was so alright but it's a fucking BL world and boys can do whatever the fuck they want in it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

lol, do u know how much rape and dubious consent there is in yaoi genre?? do u also think what if it was in reality??? u don't compare fiction to real world, especially in yaoi genre. I agree that it is not the greatest thing in reality to get with your step-brother but everything depends on how people see each other. If you see the person who lives with you as your family or simply as a friend who you later become attracted to. As I mentioned before Haesoo and Joowon never saw each other in a brotherly manner, it was only their parents who wanted them to become brothers. Therefore, I see nothing wrong or gross about it. If this is so gross to you, i would recommend skipping this manhwa.
honestly, i think majority of readers who are taku's fans don't care about Jowoon's and Haesoo's backstory and the biggest backbone of this whole manhwa. The plot is surrounded by an issue that Jowoon and Haesoo couldn't be together in the past because of their parents, in particular Haesoo's mom who forbade them from being together (not only she made them miserable, the bish is still sour herself). Now in the present they are unhappy but still can't keep away from each other even after almost ten years. The trigger for their final outcome is Taku (who is a hot, mysterious photographer so everyone is drooling over him) but he is just here to bring two people who are clearly inlove each other back together.
