Hina knows she lost but you forget they are all still step siblings to him. Like she said she know he chose Rui, it’s just that helping him became instinct. And you might want the person you love when tragedy happens, but in reality you can’t always have what you want. This chapter was about Natsu getting back to writing. That’s why she cried because as an individual she saw how broken he became when he couldn’t, so to see him writing again she cried. Stop trying to find an enemy in the story and just enjoy it.
