Romance is not he main dish of the vook
The characters are literally hostile to each over, it’s going to be :very slow burn. It’s a political with quite a few mind games and tongue lashing. It is smart and polished if you don’t expert it to be something it is not, it’s very entertaining because our girl is smart and moderate , you really feel she needs to be careful at all time … trust is the biggest issue, love can only become when trust is not a problem anymore :)
I felt the same way as you some time earlier, but I kept reading because of MC - I wanted to see how she overcomes some obstacles and how she finds solution.
I wouldn't say that their relationship is bland - it's basically transparent (lol), I used to feel so weird because prince was LITERALLY someone I could not see through. It was the first time for me, usually we get more, you know, emotions on face? He was totally pokerface for a long time.
I'm glad I lasted, because I love MC and - let me tell you - after reading chapter from prince's point I let myself give him a second chance (even if he creeped me out a little bit).
I like the story very much and they start to have more colors, if i can say. It's still going to be a long process since Irene is getting in the way, but hey, I'm not complaining - more chapters for me to read. :D
i know i probably should have read more chapters and tbh this is just me wanting to share my personal opinion - but there's just something about this story that makes me not as interested as i do with other similar webtoons. i like satie, she's a cool FL for sure don't get me wrong. but her relationship with the crown prince is just bland af. i know there are lots of moments where they're both blushing but i just don't feel it (I WANT TO BUT IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN). i really wish she'd end up with the fifth prince but that probably will never happen. hell, satie has even more chemistry with her childhood friend than the crown prince. compared to other like "why are you doing this, duke?" or "doctor elise" - it's just not it, fam┗( T﹏T )┛
