Same, it also made me kinda sad, and the story feel like it lacked a little something that he never actually confessed or gave a proper reply to Hoshino.
To me, it felt less like Akihiro was in love with Mami, more like he felt a need to protect her and Shouta, and marrying her was the best way to do that. He did open up about Hoshino to Mami, and Mami did say that Akihiro liked Hoshino (it was all over his face and the way he talked). So it didn't really feel like he forced Hoshino. Hoshino had been in love with Akihiro for 11 years, after all. I wish both of their feelings for each other were a little more explored, but the story is pretty good as it is too.
The seme said he'd like to marry mami though, he also indirectly forces the uke to be the one that confess to him(again)
It's not that I hate him, just something of him feel off. But overall I liked the story.
