I mean I’m not going to lie I wish it had ended at chapter 8 when Shinobu was figuring out he could move on to greater prospects?? Kou literally used the shadiest, most douchebag way to make Shinobu jealous and as we figure out later in the story, he did that to COUNTLESS other victims. That’s completely unforgivable. During those chapters where he was suffering because of his mistakes I fucking cheered on Shinobu for moving the fuck on.
As much as I am a sucker for gorgeous men in suits, he did something that wasn’t acceptable even to me who habitually reads all kinds of yaoi. That was a trash move and I will never accept it.
I’m aware this is fictional, to those who are going to get angry at me for taking this too seriously, but what he did was such an asshole move that them making up and having that huge confession scene at the end was not it. That was not satisfying and it completely trashed any potential for Shinobu to move on with his life and show that he’s grown past being hung up on men who don’t care for him.
Overall very cute beginning and I’m glad he became good friends with Kenji because that’s important to me.
