I see where you are coming from, but I can't really agree. After all, the transmigrated woman didn't *force* him to cheat - she just tried to seduce him and he willingly cheated. The woman didn't *tell* him to abuse his wife to death - he did that all on his own. The potential to cheat and injure doesn't magically appear - from the description of the original story, his nature was like this from the beginning.
If he was a good person the bitch couldn't tempt him. She simply shows who he really is: a cheater and wife abuser.
