half of his powers was given to Asahi to save her life... The other half was spent protecting her and used to return her to her time... The gods told him of he become one with Asahi he might recover but he refused that time... So I bet there is some of his powers left within her...
I am still confused how he came back from being a drop of water @.@ did he somehow fuse with whatever is left of his powers from asahi? Is he still a God or did he become human? @.@
