Yeah, the more i did the more i feel funny. It feel something is missing. The censored is killing me. That’s why i redraw them but if they cut off from the panel, nothing i could do.. I think chinese series are good the way they are. And I really like it that a lot of them concentrate on the plot instead of smut scenes (like a lot japanese or korean works, in a lot of them you only jump from one sex scene to another, as if that is the definition of BL).
And china is not as strict with BL as it is always said or they wouldn't release so much BL novels etc. and give them different adaptions. (I mean Mo Dao Zu Shi started as a novel and got an audio drama, a webtoon, an anime, a drama and will get a game soon as well)

A lot of them censor and have to hide the relationship, or absurd things like they saying that they like each other or a light kiss?? or they make absurd cut in the scenes and etc. And Mo Dao Zu Shi only got smut at the end in the novel cuz it's from 2016 and the laws weren't that strict at the time, and the manhua, anime and live action aren't BL cuz of the stupid censorship. Also, I don't want sex scenes, I just want to see the hole plot and the hole story, only that :) And artists should be able to draw and write whatever they want without risking going to prison.... And i'm sorry if i'm not making much sense, english is not my first language and its 00am right now XD

I know and that's the point, they shouldn't be afraid of expressing themselves and going for jail only for drawing/writing an LGBTQI+ romance....

Eh I'm sorry but not many would risk going to jail for drawing or writing about LGBTQ+ stuff. The punishments in China aren't mild either. One of my fav chinese writers got 10 years in prison for including gay sex scenes in her novels. If It's for the sake of the authors safety then I'm absolutely okay with censorship
Maybe i'm expressing myself wrong, because I said that I WISHED that the artists weren't censored and that they shouldn't have to be afraid of going to prison because of a a drawing or novel LGBTQI+, like they should have a safe plataform to upload their work or in the future things change in China, I've never said that they should do this NOW or anything like this.... But for the time I will continue to support chinese artists the best I can (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
you aren't expressing yourself wrong, the person just doesn't get it, or they are trying to start an argument for the sake of it. I understand what you mean though, a lot of Chinese comics are censored because of laws, and it sucks that they have to censor relationships like it's a taboo, both straight and not, are censored. Which really doesn't make sense, since a lot of kids read these things, and most learn about relationships through these things. It's just my guess here since I don't know much about Chinese culture however, I guess they as a society feel that showing familiarity and relations are a taboo, it could be why it's predominantly a male-dominated country. Although don't quote me on this, since I don't know much about Chinese culture. Nevertheless, it's frustrating as a person who loves seeing relationships open within a story, and also loves seeing potential read stories that have to hide their familiarity. At points, you don't even realize that some of the characters are family in some of them due to them not acting as a family would in some cases. As I said, it's frustrating, but what can you do about it, unless their country decides to stop overlording their citizens it is what it is. It's a reason why I don't read many of these stories, not because I don't like them, but because it's frustratingly sad to see wasted potential due to a country harsh laws. Even in America a lot of people get wasted with their potential due to the country constantly changing the rules on censorship, it's to the point where anime and anything related to it, is slowly being pushed out, due to media manipulating people into thinking animations is only for children. We don't even have the right to freedom of speech anymore, we are just given permission to speak, but that's it, just permission with the ability to use everything you say and do against you in the court of law, it's shit really.

It's very frustrating cuz chinese manhua have SO MUCH POTENTIAL and the art is AMAZING, but becuase of the censorship there's almost no romance, the plots has holes because they have to keep things hidden and so on... China sucks, I just wished that would have a way to our artists make their art without bullshit restrictions and etc.... Anyways thanks for your amazing job with this manhua~!!!
