I do believe that 'ignoring their gender dysphoria' is genuinely impossible but also I like to add in the factor that she lives in Japan/ Tokyo which the idea of being Trans is still very taboo, same with homosexual relationships. Which side note, I can't remember the last time I read a manga about an actual trans experience before... like usually it's them in drag and shit. ANYWAY, I still liked the story since I'm a sucker for tragedies lol
