As you make so much fuss over complex character, I thought you'd announce some grand mangas with deep, complex personalities but you announce Underground Hotel, LOL. This yaoi is typical of Sadahiro Mika: cheater characters both Seme and Uke and acting like they're bipolar or dummies. I couldn't never take seriously the yaois of that Sensei because they're all the same: sleeping arround cheaters (they still fuck with other dudes while supposed to be in love, like...??). The only differences from other Sadahiro's is that UGH is set in a prison and that the MC is afro with a sadistic libido that's bigger that the guys around. If this is what you qualify as "complex", yeah they are in the sense that their actions are extremely out of space and incomprehensible; it seems like their actions are deconnected from the situation and there's no link to connect them.

You may dislike Seungho or find him two-dimensional character, but at least -even though the author never writes down his thoughts- his actions perfectly follows his motivations, they follow a clear route and all this is pertinent with how goes the plot.
He was a manwhore who slept with multiple partners; now he only have eyes for Nakyum and will do whatever it takes to possess him.
I don't think we will ever agree about this discussion, but I want to show you that what you find no good can be appreciated by other/s and vice versa, and that nobody really owns the true truth concerning these lectures. Yaoi is itself a genre that divises a lot.

Of course I think it's still about Seungho, lol. How do you think all this started? Your critics about Seungho being two-dimensional character isn't backed with some arguments either, you just repeat he's like this and that's all.

My thoughts about this question is that, personally I can understand why you can think like this, but about me, I don't see the Lord as you do. It's true he's done some terrible things that make people reluctant to see him further than this, though as an observant reader, his character's a lot more developped than most Semes/MCs, he's very expressive and we get to know perfectly what he's thinking (joy, cynism, evilness, annoyance, laxism, empathy, surprise, pleasure, lust...), even if like I told, Author-Nim never writes down his thoughts.
She does wrote those for Sir In Hun, but we never read such thing about the Lord.
The Lord's background, like past life, childhood... still remain a mystery -till the Author deliver them to us readers. So all we know about him is his social status and some bad things he's done since chap1, some elements of his past, his current self now and his obssession for the painter... We can theorize about what he can do following this or who he may kill, though there are elements that Byeonduck doesn't reveal yet surely for plot wise. Authors can choose to share the characters's thoughts with us -or not, and many won't show the Semes' thoughts because it's good to keep some mystery (and mysterious Semes are sexy...).
Even though- for a ML from whom we don't really know the past and precise thoughts, we know pretty well his personality and means/intentions, what's he's capable of... We know all these little changes in him that transform him little by little from a polygamous fuckboy to a monogamous Master that only cares about his lowborn, and all this operates in a quite short time.
We can guess perfectly what he thinks because he's very expressive and the Author is particularly good to draw their expressions.

I don't know if you're invested in this story, but if you're invested like some of us and is a bit sensitive it's not difficult to see that Seungho's not like you describe him; he's a complex character. He's someone who, whatever he can do, never does things half-assed, his actions are often extrem and correspond to those of a merciless Lord, though if you look at him in these small details you'll see the guy is more than we thought he's to be and is a lot more sensitive than he shows.

I hope you can one day be open and be more empathic to Seungho. Since he's the center pillar of this plot, one can't really appreciate the story if they only hate him.
