The same thing happened in Chew and Swallow. The bad guy got away with everything legally, and just got a emotional karma.

It happened because they switch because the alive twin thought her mother hated her because with what happened with their father but she actually cares for her... she stayed a bit longer than planned and the dead one waited until the rapist raped her....

You know it still pains me knowing the real Han Siwon never got any justice for his death. It irritates me that the “karma” his shitty twin got was just that. Even that asshole who planned the rape, his smirking face and shit tells me he was entertained until the end. Fuck thinking about them getting away with everything boils my blood.
Still this is my favorite manhwa and I never get tired of rereading it again and again.
