first BL, first topic, first review.
I’ve heard a few things about KS before when it made its appearance & was hesitant to read it because of its synopsis + not into yaoi... but since it’s been trending on the homepage, curiosity got the best of me... though the beginning to me is a little cliché with the, “I like this boy” scene & the rest, the reader can already tell what’s to come (peep the cover)... however, the author doesn’t waste any time beating around the bush & unnecessary drawn-out scenes, we are introduced to the MCs & an insight; scary reality of Stockholm Syndrome. once you get past the graphic scenes & focus on the main point; each panel, the characters, the character development- coordinates w/ one another & allows everything to fall into place—the transition of the storyline flow, making this an extremely thought out plot. I believe it’s intended from the author, for the reader to make assumptions & speculate what’s happening, the meaning of certain symbols before it’s revealed & if the relationship that’s progressing between the two: is it really love or one-sided? it’ll spark some unanswered questions for sure, the more you read. this is definitely worth it & I recommend this to anyone, especially to those who enjoy psychological thriller.
