Old beauty standards deem freckles undesirable. I think the trend of hating freckles has lasted longer in East Asia but it's also that old cliché of the unattractive female protagonist who wears glasses (look at any american movie with the heroine going through a makeover)
I have freckles and I look terrible I think but I know that I have to live with it for the rest of my life so I just deal (live) with it
Lmao how is she even ugly I have freckles and wear big round glasses and I look average. I know lots of people who have freckles and wear glasses too who look good. Besides, aren’t freckles a trend or something now? I see people putting on fake ones quite often.
