Ppl seem to think that to be a strong Heroine you need to be able to kick butt, be sassy and play with scum men and women. But really Areum is probably one of the most fleshed out, real, strong and independent heroines I have ever seen.

I mean the girl's just 20, fresh out of school and into/going into uni. She's young and naive. She's thrown into an unknown world, treated like a slave, and had to beg to not be sold off. And yet she persevered. She's scared. She's in love, and wants to give him chances to better himself, to trust in her like she trusts him, but the asshat has got Male Lead syndrome, and acts like a self centered prick, who took the 'Mysterious as the dark side of the moon' too seriously. I mean if this dude was anymore of a prick he'd be a cactus. Now don't get me wrong while I am annoyed with Travis, I don't hate him. The guy as an IMMORTAL VAMPIRE has been through a lot. More trauma, and pain and suffering than the obvious average short lifespan human. I'm not really being sarcastic here. But because of that shouldn't he be a bit more wise?A bit more thoughtful??? Like dude, we get u love to eternity, to to the moon and back. But, atleast try and ASK her if she wants to turn. Talk it out. You finally have someone who loves you for who you are as an individual, not some vampire. You know she's not from this universe and chances are she might actually accept seeing how sympaoshe is towards you. Hell, you even have plans to coax and persuade her to accept u after u turn her, so y not before all that shit hits the fan and her possibly absolutely LOATHE u after. OR, maybe am I missing something, yo? I just frustrated thinking about this#－.－).
